CILAG has announced its activities for 2018

Josephine Dossah, President of the association, presented programmes of activities at its quarter general meeting at Ghana Reinsurance Company’s conference centre in Accra last week.

The presentation of activities for the year was done under the theme ‘The Contemporary Woman in the World of Business’.  The President told the gathering of over one hundred Professional Ladies that the activities will start with a health walk and second-quarter meeting at the Burma Camp Sports Complex and will be rounded-up with a second-quarter birthday celebration for members in June.  The third-quarter general meeting will take place in September with a talk on the theme of the year.  There will also be free medical screening and an insurance clinic to educate the general public in November.

CILAG will also give a befitting welcome to the Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA) from Nigeria, who will attend African Insurance Organisation (AIO) Conference which runs from 6th to 9th May, 2018.

CILAG will round up the year with a Carol service and nine (9) lessons.

The Chartered Insurance Ladies Association Ghana (CILAG) is an association incorporated in Ghana on September 26th, 2016 under Company Act 179 of 1963.  CILAG was established by a group of Chartered Insurance Ladies led by Ms. Lydia Lariba Bawa, former Commissioner of Insurance.  The association is to encourage Professional Insurance Ladies to foster insurance ethics and professionalism, and also assist ladies entering the insurance profession to give professional training.  CILAG has an eight (8) member Executive team in charge of day to day administration of the association.
