As we aspire, lets walk for health – Zenith Bank

Management and Staff of Zenith Bank, including its customers and partners, on Saturday embarked on its first health walk in 2018 to promote the importance of exercise in the corporate world.

This first walk of the year was on the theme: “Together we Aspire…walk for health”.

The activity that had hundreds of participants was to fulfil the bank’s commitment to promote good health among its staff and foster corporate bonding.

Managing Director of the Bank, Henry Oroh told the B&FT that, the walk was organised because the Bank valued the health of its staff, partners, customers and urged all to work towards living healthy lifestyles.

He added that, “Zenith Bank over the years through the promotion of healthy living with the health walk, has forged strategic partnerships both in public and private sectors of the economy, and I believe that it is important to be innovative in our product and service offerings.”

“The walk was organised because the Bank valued the health of its staff, partners, customers and I urge them all to work towards living healthy lifestyles. Let me say good health could be achieved by adopting the right behaviours and also by positive thinking,” he added.

Mr. Oroh mentioned that, 2017 even though came with its own challenges was a good year for the Bank, because they achieved a record breaking performance which has earned some awards three months into 2018.

He said the feat could only have been attained through the collective efforts of staff of the bank and its customers who have been loyal over the years.

The Managing Director assured customers that management would up their game and even do more than they did last year, saying: “l assure you that tailor made products and services are being developed and enhanced to cater for the ever-changing banking needs of customers and we will also ensure that, we train the staff to meet your needs.”

The walk started at the EL-Wark Sports Stadium at 37, with participants going through the other major streets of the capital and ended it at the EL-Wark Sports Stadium.

A number of people consisting of staff of the Multipro Private Limited, Ashfoam Ghana Limited, Kasapreko Company Limited, Del Hosptial, C&J Medicare among others took part in the walk and aerobics which spanned about 3 hours amidst drumming and dancing.
