Upswing Music Company Limited – a distinct company that provides sound reinforcement, musical equipment rental, audio equipment supply and support, has officially opened a new Yamaha pro-audio showroom for business.
The showroom is located in a serene environment to enable comfort when doing business, and is exclusively dedicated to Yamaha products – having in stock various capacities of mixing consuls, pianos, strings, drums, guitars and basses, brass and woodwinds, and keyboard instruments as well as speakers and monitors.
According to Joseph Mbrokoh-Ewoal, the board chairman of Upswing, Yamaha is a top brand when it comes to musical instruments – a reason why Upswing is adding their collection to the existing brands of products they have in stock, which are of top quality to serve the Ghanaian public.
“Yamaha, is a top brand in musical instruments; so far, the most expensive acoustic piano musical instrument in the world is manufactured by Yamaha, and that is the kind of brand and quality product that we will be making available to the Ghanaian market.
“Apart from us, Melcom Ghana Ltd. is the only other company that has authorisation to deal in Yamaha products in the country; but they are solely focused on musical instruments, and we are adding pro-audio equipment.”
However, he indicated that the introduction of Yamaha to Upswing will lead to corporate competition on the Ghanaian market between themselves and Melcom Ghana Ltd., which will be in the interest of the consumer to get value for money and good customer care.
With regard to the future of the company and technology in Ghana, Upswing aims to collaborate with tertiary institutions such as the technical universities which are learning electronics by equipping them and training them into manufacturing some basic materials such as audio cables, among others, here in Ghana.
This initiative is aimed at developing the Ghanaian manufacturing industry and economy at large.
Aiming to introduce and provide Ghanaians with all pro-audio and musical instruments as well as necessary resources to stay abreast with the ever-increasing advancement in the global pro-audio and music space, Upswing is also an authorised distributor of electro-voice products; Bosch International’s product, Dynacord; and Sennheiser equipment to the Ghanaian market.
The musical organisation also promises highly skilled technical staff which are taken through periodic training to provide best-augmented services in delivery, programming and installations.
