Asante Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku is feeling buoyant ahead of their second leg clash against CARA Club in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors will go into their second leg clash against the Congolese outfit with a narrow advantage after winning the first encounter 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
But despite holding a slender lead into the return encounter, Opoku believes they have prepared adequately to overcome the CARA hurdle in Congo.
“United we’re going to Congo to conquer CARA, victory is going to be ours. The Technical team has worked on us well and we are poised for victory come Wednesday,” Opoku told Happy FM.
Kotoko reach the finals of the maiden edition of the competition but have failed to go beyond he first round in their last two attempts in Africa.
Kotoko left Accra on Monday morning for the trip to Congo, with the game set to be played on Wednesday.
