Cairo-based Egypt Air has presented a free return ticket to a loyal guest to mark this year’s Christmas Festivities and as part of the airline’s appreciation for the continuous patronage of their services by the public.
Mr. Osman, who occupied seat number 28H on an Accra-Cairo bound flight on December 22, 2017 was randomly chosen by the captain of the flight in a lucky dip as the winner.
Country Manager of Egypt Air, Mr. Ahmed El-Banhawy, told the B&FT that the gesture was to show appreciation to its guests.
He added that the airline is very committed to the Ghanaian market and will continue to provide excellent on-board services to meet the expectations of the market.
Egypt Air, which is a member of the Star Alliance, is the flag carrier airline of Egypt and operates scheduled passenger and freight services to more than 75 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
The airline, over the past decade, has won a lot of awards. It was adjudged Africa’s Leading Airline -Business Class in 2011; and North Africa’s Leading Airline in 2004/2005.
It was most recently nominated for Africa’s Leading Airline 2017 and Africa’s Leading Airline-Business Class 2017 at the World Travel Awards 2017.
