The deputy director of the facility, Mr George Quansah thanked Shoprite for the gifts and expressed appreciation to the company on behalf of the Chairman of the Lepers Aid Committee, Rev. Fr Andrew Campbell who was attending to another assignment during the time of the presentation.

Mr. Quansah gave the assurance that the items would be shared to the inmates and made a passionate appeal to other philanthropists to come to their aid.
