Nequaye William, Head of Retail Banking, speaking at the draw held at the bank’s Dansoman branch, said the promo is aimed at promoting the culture of savings among Ghanaians, as well as to show gratitude to its cherished customers for their continued support.
“The bank has outlined a number of tailored products and services which will be rolled in 2018 to meet the needs of customers. These products and services will be announced to the general public in due course,” he added.
The promo, which is the first of its kind by the bank, is aimed at broadening the bank’s customer base by connecting with the unbanked population through excellent products and services that meet their financial needs.
The first mini draw held last month, also saw ten customers from the bank’s various branches across the country, win similar prizes.
The grand draw for the promo will be held in January 2018, where some lucky customers will walk away with amazing prizes, ranging from Led television sets, fridges, washing machines, gas cookers, laptops, Ipads, smart phones, among others.
To enter or qualify for the promotion, customers need to make a deposit of GH₵200.00 or multiples of it into an existing or new individual savings or current account.
Every GH₵200.00 deposit earns a customer one point. However, all customers who at the start of the promotion had a minimum balance of GH₵1,000.00 in their accounts, would get one point for every GH₵1,000.00 as advance points up to a maximum of 10 points.
The advance points are earned only on incremental basis for as long as customer deposits remain in the account during the period of the promotion.
Customers are required to maintain a minimum of GH₵1,000.00 in their individual current or savings accounts to be able to participate in the three monthly draws and the grand draw.
