This year’s Ghana Premier Business and Finance Excellence Awards Ceremony which was scheduled to take place in Accra, on Friday 24th April, 2020 has been postponed indefinitely.

According to Mr. Isaac Dakwa, Director of Top Brass Ghana, the organisers of the Ghana Premier Business and Finance Excellence Awards Scheme, the postponement of the 2020 Awards Ceremony has been necessitated by the disruption and uncertainty arising from the coronavirus-related partial lockdown.

The Ghana Premier Business and Finance Excellence Awards Scheme has its origins in the Golden Jubilee Business and Financial Services Excellence Awards which Top Brass Ghana was mandated by the Ghana @ 50 Anniversary National Planning Committee to organise within the context of the Programme of Activities to commemorate 50 years of Ghana’s Independence in 2007.

Subsequent to the Golden Jubilee Awards in 2007, the Ghana Premier Awards Scheme has been organised annually since 2008 with the objective of honouring business and finance houses which are deemed to have made outstanding contributions to the economic development of Ghana. A new date for the 2020 Awards Ceremony will be announced in due course.
