Business & Financial Times (B&FT) is Ghana’s award-winning and only surviving business newspaper for over two decades, delivering news and information relative to the business world in the country and internationally.
The newspaper published by the Business & Financial Times Limited has a wide range of readers and is circulated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Meanwhile, the weekend is reserved for social issues published in the B&FT Weekend which seeks to discover the social side of Corporate Ghana and also provide a unique platform for advertisers who want to reach the hitherto un-served niche of socially-mindful members of the business community.
To increase the scope of our readership and to further inform, educate and entertain subscribers in the diaspora, we added the online portal which promises to deliver a consolidated archived material of our paper to serve purposes of research and education.
Also, timely and most current news in the business world is presented to our already existent and prospective readers online who prefer to use the web to access their news.
The newspaper is running concurrently with the online portal and is circulated through newsstands and vendors, subscriptions, airlines & hotels as well as at conferences and exhibitions. The newspaper is also available in Ghana’s diplomatic missions abroad.
The company employs over 60 personnel locally and has offices in Accra, Sekondi-Takoradi, Kumasi and Tamale. Business & Financial Times is also involved in a number of international publications and has affiliates in Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya and the UK.
Aside the publications, the company is also involved in event management. It has over the years organised a number of local and international events including a day’s international seminar on the Deregulation of the Petroleum Downstream Sector for the Ministries of Energy and Finance, which ushered the country into the Petroleum Deregulation era.
It also organised the Best Sector Performance Awards, the Life Assurance Forum, the Ghana Private Medical and Dental Awards, Ghana’s Most Respected Company and CEO Awards, West African Banking Congress, Ghana Auto Expo, Northern Business and Investment Fair and the internationally acclaimed Pan-African leadership event, the annual African Business Leaders Forum and the annual Ghana Economic Forum.
B&FT was recognized as a SUPERBRAND in 2012 and also picked the award for the Business Newspaper of the Year 2012. The newspaper was also awarded recently for the second time by Ghana’s Social Security and National Insurance Trust for being the Best in Social Security Reporting.
