Real trade deficit widens to GH¢6.2bn — GSS

The country recorded a GH¢6.2 billion trade deficit in real terms in the first quarter of 2026, in contrast to the GH¢46.1 billion nominal surplus, as export volumes contracted while imports expanded, according to the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS).
