National VAT compliance campaign begins    

The Central Securities Depository (CSD) is working to become the fourth central securities depository in Africa to issue legal entity identifiers (LEIs) for companies in Ghana, as part of efforts to strengthen the country’s capital-market infrastructure and deepen its integration with global financial markets.

The Bank of Ghana has kept its benchmark policy rate unchanged at 14 percent as improved fiscal performance, stronger external buffers and resilient domestic activity offset renewed inflation risks from higher oil prices and global supply disruptions.
