The Africa Energy Technology Centre (AETC) has unveiled an ambitious agenda to transform Africa into a global producer of energy technologies, securing the backing of President John Dramani Mahama for its flagship Africa Energy Technology Conference.
The President has declared Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, 2026 as National General Cleaning Days in the seven regions affected by recent floods, as government steps up measures to clear drains, remove refuse and reduce the risk of further flooding.
