Ghana’s insurance industry has joined the national flood clean-up exercise, with a dual message to Ghanaians: “We will compensate those insured, and we urge those not insured to take cover now while we support in keeping our surroundings tidy all the time”.

Ghana’s renewed effort to attract upstream investment, stabilise its electricity market and expand indigenous participation in the energy industry will come under sharper commercial focus when African Energy Week 2026 convenes in Cape Town from October 12 to 16.
