Achimota Retail Centre (ARC) is celebrating the Ghana Month and the Easter season with special focus on its youthful patrons, as the mall unveils a package of Independence Day and Easter festivities highlighting exceptional fun for children and students.

The centre is all braced up for another memorable Independence Day experience for all category of patrons and visitors, but appears to have reserved the best part of the fanfare for children and younger celebrants, as a huge chunk of its space has been specially allocated for games and fanfare.

“The centre is all set for a rousing Independence Day celebration and our customers and visitors are assured of an exciting holiday experience here, but we have dedicated much more of the fun for our younger patrons – children and students – who are so often underserved on such occasions,” Mrs. Linda Pappoe, Marketing Manager, told newsmen today.

The Marketing Manager said students from a number of schools within the centre’s catchment area will participate in a special line-up of activities, including musical performances, poetry recitals, face painting and many other games.

“But as far as the Ghana Month goes, this is just the icing on the cake. The Independence Day experience extends into our sensational Easter ‘egg-stravaganza’ package which, you would find out, is more of a family affair,” Mrs. Pappoe disclosed.

The ARC ‘egg-stravaganza’ experience is a highly animated Easter egg-hunting adventure for families and children which opens on Easter Monday, April 1st.

“All day long, shoppers who register to participate and who make minimum purchases of Gh¢ 200 will have to search, find and take away several colourful eggs containing a variety of gift items and other surprises which will be hidden away at various spots in a demarcated section of the car park area,” disclosed Mrs. Pappoe.

She said the egg-hunt will take place amid a thrilling ambience invoked by a non-stop live Disc Jockey music and exciting side shows like a face and body painting session, egg rolling, egg painting, bunny ear fixing, an ARC mini mascot serenade and may other attractions.

Easily the most popular open mall in Accra, ARC is home to a wide range of Ghanaian and international brands with offerings in different retail categories, including fashion and clothing, electronics, grocery, health and wellness, a children’s games arcade and a range of alluring delicatessen and eateries.

The centre is located at Dome, off the Accra-Nsawam highway, and has over the past eight years delivered modern, secured retail shopping services and quality recreation to communities like Achimota, Dome, Tantra Hills, Taifa, Kwabenya, Ashongman and the entire north-eastern quarter of the capital.
