The Sanctuary Montessori School has commenced its 10th-anniversary celebration under the theme ‘A Decade of Excellence and Values Guided by Faith’. The milestone event was inaugurated with the unveiling of a special anniversary logo, symbolising ten years of impactful academic achievement.
During a brief ceremony held in Anaji – a suburb within the Effia Kwesiminstsim Municipality, Pastor Prosper Asamoah, the Proprietor of The Sanctuary Montessori, highlighted the significance of the celebration. He stressed the school’s commitment to nurturing a foundation grounded in faith, values and academic excellence over the past decade.
“As a Christian school, we have striven to cultivate an environment that inspires, nurtures and empowers children to realise their unique potentials for the future,” Pastor Asamoah stated. “Through dedicated teaching and a commitment to our core values of integrity, transparency, excellence and hard work, we have consistently exceeded the expectations of our stakeholders.”
Acknowledging the collective effort that contributed to the school’s success, Pastor Asamoah expressed gratitude to the teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and other stakeholders.
Dora Nana Yawson, Head of The Sanctuary Montessori School, echoed these sentiments, commending the staff for their unwavering dedication to upholding the school’s principles and values. She reassured parents and stakeholders of the institution’s continued commitment to providing a solid educational foundation for children to become productive citizens in the future.
Wilhelmina Andoh-Mensah, Examination Officer at the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Education Office, applauded the school for its decade-long journey, and recognised its significant contributions to community development through various corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The Sanctuary Montessori School offers education from preschool to Junior High School (JHS) levels. The month-long anniversary celebration will feature a series of activities, including sharing transformational stories, a family decafest, a parenting seminar, a community charity project, and an awards ceremony honouring the school’s achievements over the past ten years. Additionally, events such as a career day, staff dinner and special recognition of the school’s founder are scheduled.
