Lekzy DeComic, the ‘cutest’ comic in Ghana, brings the second instalment of his annual comedy special, ‘Too Cute To Be Mute’ Chapter 2 to the National Theatre on September 30, 2022.

As the organisers have lined up the crème de la crème of Ghana’s top comedians and musicians, Chapter 2 of Too Cute To Be Mute promises to be bigger and more entertaining than the first edition. Comedy actors – Clemento Suarez and Jeneral Ntatia, as well as fellow comedian and co-host of the Half Serious Show OB Amponsah – will perform that evening. Simy from Kenya will also make an appearance.

The biggest surprise of the evening will be Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, also known as Funny Face, who will perform on stage for the first time in 11 years. The event is set to be graced by an energetic performance by Highly Spiritual music signee, Mr. Drew.

Since entering the field eight years ago, Lekzy DeComic has given performances all throughout the nation. He was the headline act of Ghana’s well-known monthly comedy event, Laughline, until his recent departure from Dreamline Entertainment; and he has since been a headline act on most comedy evenings, winning him multiple nominations and accolades in Ghana.

He is a co-host of GHOne’s The Half Serious Show at the moment. Lekzy DeComic has gained a lot of popularity as an impressionist, and he vows to convey this to Ghanaians by saying: “I will be on the stage alone, but numerous characters shall join me”.

Too Cute To Be Mute Chapter 2 is being put together by 2 Cute Entertainment under the direction of George Quaye, an event management expert, in association with the National Theatre of Ghana and Image Bureau.
