HIBS Africa, a beauty trade show with multiple vendors from Africa, Europe and other parts of the globe, is set to organise the 2022 edition at the Accra International Conference Centre on September 24-25.
With a two-day pass going for only GH¢100 alongside a goodie bag at the gate for each ticketed attendee, there are well over 100 vendors who have signed up for the event.
The specific industries include hair care, beauty (makeup), skin, fashion and accessories at this upcoming HIBS Africa event. Also, all products and services at HIBS Africa are being extended to attendees at massive discounts exclusively for the show while other vendors are providing their services like barbering, hair styling, manicure/pedicure and others for free, yes absolutely free!
There will also be multiple stage shows like fashion shows and hair shows by different hair companies, live demonstrations on stage, hair competitions, the Face of Hair Senta Competition with 20 contestants, barbering competition, and an educational aspect of the programme as well to help inspire attendees who want to start businesses or hear stories on how others have built sustainable businesses over the period.
The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS Africa) will be holding a free business strategy class for all attendees who are interested; and the keynote speaker for this year’s event is Tara Fela-Durotoye – founder of House of Tara International, who is also a pioneer in the makeup manufacturing business in Nigeria. In 2019, the keynote speaker was Reverend Albert Ocran, who gave an inspiring speech to the attendees and vendors of the event.
There will be more than 15 classes on skill development, sales, marketing and coaching happening simultaneously each day, and over 30 stage shows on both days. On Sunday morning – Day 2 of the event, September 25 – there will be a church service from 9am to 11am before show resumes at 11:30am, till close time at 8pm.
The maiden edition of HIBS Africa was in September 2019 in Ghana at the Accra International Conference Centre, and it was a huge success with both local and international vendors showcasing their products and services to all attendees. It streamed live to the rest of the world via Facebook and YouTube.
Since then, the COVID-19 pandemic made organisers unable to host the show due to the social distancing protocols in place; and since this was a show that involved thousands of people in one place, it was naturally impossible to host it within that period.
HIBS Africa 2022 is a trade show that has a huge element of fun for family and friends looking for an amazing shopping experience while basking in the energy of great people and deals; there is also a kids area located inside where you can leave your kids to play while you shop and network.
Among the vendors will be top restaurants and beverage companies who will be there to provide food and drinks to the attendees at amazingly low deals.
It will be a fun-filled weekend you’re unlikely to forget, so lock in the dates, September 24-25 2022 from 11:30am to 8:00pm daily at the Accra International Conference Centre.
