2022 VGMA nominees announced

… awards night slated for May 6-7

The organisers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) – the biggest music awards event in the country – Charterhouse, has presented the final list of nominees for the 23^rd edition of the award scheme.

The awards scheme which is designed to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of the various musicians and players in the music industry has been scheduled for May 6-7, 2022.

The 18 categories include Best Gospel Song, Best Highlife Song, Best Hiplife Song, Best Afrobeats Song, Best Afropop Song, Best Hiphop Song, Best Reggae/Dancehall Song, Collaboration of the Year, International Collaboration of the Year, Best Album/EP of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Highlife Artiste of the Year, Best Hiplife/Hiphop Artiste of the Year, Afropop/Afrobeats Artiste of the Year, Song Writer of the Year, Female Vocal Performance of the Year, among others.
