CCIFG holds gala night and maiden awards on March 15

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Ghana (CCIFG) will organise, the second edition of the CCIFG Gala Night and maiden CCIFG Awards.

Under the high and esteemed patronage of the Vice-President of Ghana, the CCIFG Gala Night and Awards will be the exclusive networking event of the year providing a unique platform for élite high-level exchanges between delegates from various sectors in the Ghanaian Industry, members of the Chamber and the diplomatic scene, with an added value of a 4-course French Dinner and entertaining live music.

With over 200 tickets already purchased, the CCIFG Gala Night will be the occasion of the premiere CCIFG Awards. The Award ceremony will recognize mostly CCIFG member companies across industries for outstanding business activity in 2017 that made an impact through its products and services for the Ghanaian economy.

The nominees were voted upon after the convocation of a five-member jury composed and establishment of a detailed criteria for five categories. The official nominees for the CCIFG Awards are as follows:

In the category of Digital Innovation Company of the year, the competitors include Accra City Hotel, Ecobank Ghana, Jade E. Services (Jumia), and SGS Ghana; Best CSR and Sustainability Company are Cargill Ghana, Consolidated Shipping Agencies, Fan Milk, and Total Petroleum; and for Emerging Company of the year, the competitors are A.B.B. Consultancy, CBI Ghana Ltd, and GHL Bank.

The rest of the categories are Transformational Project award which has Meridian Port Services, Rigworld International Services, RMG Ghana, and Ghana Rubber Estates; for the Judges Choice Award, the options are Air France, Decathlon Ghana, LUCAS College, and Voltic Ghana; and the final category is CCIFG Associate Award of the Year which has Airtel-Tigo, Chalkboard Education, Euracare, Inesfly Africa, and Kasapreko Company competing.

The CCIFG Gala forms part of the increasing activities to support the growing activities between France and Ghana which was reinforced by the visit of the President of France, H.E. Emmanuel Macron to Ghana in November 2017.

The Gala Night is also a platform for high-level networking and exchanges between delegates from various sectors in the Ghanaian Industry and beyond, so as to strengthen the economic cooperation between members of the Chamber and other professionals in the Ghanaian trade and commerce industry.

In 2017 at the maiden edition of the CCIFG Gala, the Senior Minister expressed his optimism on the prospect the relations between both countries will have on the economy, and his enthusiasm for what the existing partnership holds in the years to come.

The 2018 edition of the CCIFG Gala Night and Awards will be a platform to further mark the optimism on the part of the Chamber for the growth and prosperity of the bi-lateral relationship and CCIFG’s role in enhancing it for the benefit of the Ghanaian economy.
