Ghanaians to be honoured at the Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards in Rwanda

Ghana’s leading public sector officials and agencies will be honoured at  the Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards( APSCA)  scheduled for 20th April, 2018 at the prestigious Radisson Blu & Convention Centre, in Rwanda.

Africa’s top public servants, key decision makers, stakeholders in government and private sector will also converge at APSCA

Public agencies, institutions and organizations that have impacted the populace in their respective countries in meaningful and significant ways will be honoured for their efforts towards the development and growth of the country.

The Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards will bring together leaders in the public and private sectors with opportunities to build partnerships, share insights on strategies, policies and best practices that will drive more efficient and smarter public services in Africa.

We are delighted to bring our flagship African event to Rwanda for the very first time in order to engage in discussions that will lead to improvement in efficiency and productivity in our public institutions.

Rwanda will host   Africa’s top governments’ agencies, public servants, investors, advisers and governments’ representatives for a series of panel discussions, visionary keynote speeches, structured networking sessions and private breakout discussions.

The Africa Public Sector Conference themed “Re-inventing Public Sector for Growth” will engage delegates in constructive panel sessions that will address challenges, problems and the way forward in making public sector organizations across Africa more vibrant and effective in order to contribute to the development of Africa.

The awards will celebrate innovations and achievements, and as well change public perception about the public sector and reinforce its contributions to Africa’s development.

Africa Public Sector Awards will also recognise outstanding public servants at various levels of governance for excellence in policy innovation and exceptional leadership that led to positive impact on citizens across Africa.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of InstinctWave and Group Publisher of Africa Public Sector Magazine, Mr. Akin Naphtal, in a signed statement said that despite the fact that the public sector has been underrated and discredited for failure and negativity, it still holds a strong path towards economic growth considering the major roles government’s agencies play toward nation building, development and prosperity.

According to Naphtal, the awards dinner is to recognize those who made efforts in promoting excellent service delivery in public sector institutions in Africa, reward achievements and contributions of public service institutions that led in more robust and encompassing administration across the nations in the region and as well foster constructive competition among public sector agencies.

“The conference will also create a common administrative space, develop new administrative problem-solving paradigms, improve performance in public service delivery, effective and efficient leadership and improved management of state resources”, he explained.

Stakeholders who have supported public sector’s growth in various ways through technology and service support will also be recognized and rewarded.

Winners will be announced to an audience of Africa’s most influential public sector personalities and business decision-makers at a sumptuous evening of exquisite dining and entertainment.
