Electroland Ghana Ltd. (EGL) has supported the Chale Foundation to provide holistic health screening for beneficiaries at the Aboom Special Needs School in Cape Coast.
Chale Foundation is a nonprofit organisation that is committed to improving the livelihoods of disabled and disadvantaged children by providing primary healthcare services – mainly through medical outreaches, support services and research.
The support from Electroland Ghana Ltd. was offered in the form of two Midea high-end air-conditioners.
The donation was received by Elorm Tetteh, Director–Funding and Social Media of the Chale Foundation team.
He expressed Chale Foundation’s appreciation for the kind gesture, and promised that the donation will enable them to provide better support for beneficiaries of the initiative.
According to the Marketing supervisor for Electroland Ghana Limited, Mrs. Adissa Ibrahim, the four key strengths and focus of the organisation are New Technology, Innovative Products, Creative Solutions and Customer Satisfactions, which ensures that the company contributes meaningfully to the lives in its community. She said Chale Foundation’s work for the vulnerable in Ghana is worthy of greater support.
Chale Foundation on Saturday October 7, screened about 200 individuals including the special needs children, parents and teachers of the Aboom Special Needs school in Cape Coast.
The beneficiaries received optometry and general health screening and examinations from Chale Foundation’s health professionals. Chale Foundation will conclude this event by registering all children at the school on the National Health Insurance Scheme [NHIS], so they can access healthcare when need be after the screening exercise.
Chale Foundation’s Cape Coast Aboom Project was supported by Midea Ghana, Phoenix Insurance Company Limited, Speed Medical Centre, Magicco Limited, DoctorsAct Ghana, Spectacular Optics, Awake, and Wop3Car.
