Employees of TechnipFMC Ghana donate to orphanage

Employees of Technip FMC in Ghana has presented 400 pieces of clothes and various educational and reading books to the children of Teshie Children’s Home in Accra.

Mrs. Abigail Aba Krah Mensah Compliance and Communications Manager of the company in an interaction with the media indicated that, the Teshie Children’s home, is a place devoted to the care of orphaned and destitute kids hence their little contribution on valentine day.

She explained that “as 14th February, marks Valentine’s Day, a day of love, employees used the day as an opportunity to show love to the children of the Home as well as interact with them.”
The items, Mrs. Mensah said will go a long way in contributing to the general well-being of the children as well as improve their education.

She noted that education is the only legacy that parents, guardians as well as institutions can bequeath the individual to become independent and responsible in the society.

Therefore, she encouraged the children in the orphanage to take their education and studies seriously to reach higher height.

Mrs. Janet Anyeley Parker, the Proprietress of the Teshie Children’s orphanage expressed appreciation to the employees of TechnipFMC for the kind gesture.

She appealed to the individuals, philanthropists, church groups, organizations among others to emulate the example of the company and also assist the orphanage.
