Tumtum Clothing GH is a Ghanaian based emerging fashion label launched in 2011. Located at Community 18, near Spintex Junction Tema; the womenswear brand was founded to draw the line or bridge the gap between moderation and quite luxury.

To create a sense of delight in minimalist, understated classic and subtle elegance. It’s actually becoming a go-to brand that offers perfectly fitting modest clothing to suit the needs of a wide range of everyday women.

Having been in existence for the past 15 years, the inspiration behind the clothing line is to design beautiful outfits which make modest women feel and look confident in their own skin.

To begin with everything, Tumtum Clothing GH recently participated in this year’s edition of Style of Ghana fashion show, and wowed the audience with its runway looks and feels. Held on Saturday, 21st February 2026 at the Alliance Francaise Accra; the label featured their signature style in a radiant sparkle, and dazzled everyone with their urban style and class.

The Creative Director of Tumtum Clothing GH, Abena Ntiamoah Frimpomaa said in a phone conversation, prior to the event. “My clothing line already exists, just that I’ve not had the time to keep it going as I’m supposed to, but now I’m back to basics.” She truly lived up to her words, the new collection showcased at the Style of Ghana platform was a true testament to her strength as an emerging fashion designer, we’ll not be surprised if she becomes a household name in Ghana’s fashion industry.

“Tumtum,” which is a local dialect of the Ashanti’s simply means “black.” Indeed, black is beautiful. The ready-to-wear pieces are tailored to taste, blended or infused with traditional textures and patterns such as our very own interwoven “Kente,” with a modern twist. The brand uses fabrics such as wax prints, floral prints and a host of many others to design clothes that are visually appealing.

Their fine apparels like the “Kaba and slit” come with crystal embellishments and beading embroidery. The attention to detail, and craftsmanship is second to none. At Tumtum Clothing, sustainable fashion is their core, and good ethical practices as well. Bold yet edgy with soft elegance. Elevate your style by getting your Tumtum Clothing outfit for your wardrobe essentials.
