DreamOval drives innovation in STEM with GSTEP Challenge

DreamOval Limited has  successfully  executed of its  2022 Ghana Science and Tech Explorer Prize (GSTEP) Challenge through its foundation arm. The program, designed for Junior High School (JHS) students and teachers in Ghana, aimed to excite, encourage, and support the development of practical Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM) skills and products that benefit local communities.

A prestigious Exhibition and Awards Ceremony was held on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at the Accra International Conference Centre to showcase products developed by participants of the program and recognise outstanding teams and personalities.

Minister of Education,  Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum praised the participating schools and stakeholders for their role in solving societal challenges through various initiatives. The Minister acknowledged the significance of the development in the education sector and praised DreamOval for its leadership in executing the Challenge.

The GSTEP program involved 125 public and private schools, 465 teachers, and empowered 8,066 students. Claud Hutchful, CEO of DreamOval, emphasized the company’s mission to support Africa’s middle class and provide value to the community it serves. Charles Kollo, CMO of DreamOval, expressed the company’s passion for serving the continent and supporting innovation for the growth of the next generation of leaders and inventors.

The successful execution of the GSTEP program is a testament to DreamOval’s dedication to making a positive impact on the African continent through technology. The program encourages and supports the development of STEM skills and products that will benefit local communities and drive the transformation of the nation’s economy through education.
