DStv is giving customers many more reasons to stay glued to their sofas this festive season. With an ever-expanding bouquet of the latest sport, movies, series, and reality shows available on multiple platforms, it’s never been easier to stay entertained. And to celebrate the upcoming festive season with a gift to customers, DStv is offering free package upgrades at no extra cost.
From the 19th of December 2022 to the 31st of January 2023, DStv customers only have to keep their DStv subscriptions active and DStv will upgrade them to the next higher package free of charge. A subscription to the DStv Compact Plus package, for example, will be upgraded automatically and at no cost to a DStv Premium package, giving viewers a much greater variety of channels, shows, and movies to enjoy.
“The festive season is a time when family comes together. We want our viewers to enjoy their holiday with a wider variety of channels to watch with their loved ones. And because it’s the season of giving, we’re doing it for free”, says Alex Okyere, Managing Director, MultiChoice Ghana.
Compact Plus customers who will be upgraded to Premium, can experience the best of the best entertainment. There is the brand-new season of the legal dramedy The Good Doctor on M-Net (from 5 December at 6pm), plus the best movies in the Sunday night movie slot including The King’s Man, The Bad Guys and Moonfall.
Thrill-seekers who get upgraded from Compact to Compact Plus can look out for the new drama-filled season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on 1Magic (from 26 December 5pm) and catch the 6-episode doccie The History of Christianity on Curiosity Channel (25 December from 4pm.
Family customers will be able to sample the world of Compact where they can catch all the best to enjoy during the festive season like The Best Man Holiday (MM2 25 December at 6pm), stand-up comedy Trevor Noah: Welcome to America (18 December at 2:50pm) and Mad Madea Week on Studio Universal (from 12 December).
