MTN presents assorted items, ¢10k cash to Chief Imam

MTN Ghana has presented cash of ¢10,000 and some assorted consumables to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, towards the celebration of this year’s Eidul Fitr.
The items include; 15 Bags of Rice; 10 Cartons of Vegetable Oil, 40 Packs of Mineral Water, 15 Packs of soft drinks, 10 Trays of tin Milk, 4 boxes of Milo, 5 bags of Sugar, 2 boxes of tea bags and a ram
The telecom giants further added 1000 worth of airtime.
In a brief address during the donation, MTN General Manager for Regional Sales, Abubakar Mohammed said similar donations were made to the Regional Chief Imams of the Ashanti, Western and Northern Regions.
“Our donation today goes to affirm our appreciation for your support, patronage and loyalty to MTN. We thank you once again for your continued support of our activities and for the warm reception we have enjoyed over the years,” he stated.
He prayed Allah bestows on the Chief Imam and his households, good health, prosperity and total peace throughout the year. “May He grant you and your families’ abundant grace and holiness now and always,” he said.
Mohammed also used the opportunity to urge the Muslim community in the country to participate in the ongoing sim re-registration exercise.

The telecom giant, he said would set up stands at vantage points to provide customers with an enhanced customer experience whilst they celebrate. “ In view of the ongoing SIM registration, we will also have a team that will register customers SIM with the Ghana Card,” he added.
Receiving the items Sheikh Osman Sharubutu expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the visit and the presentation.
He prayed to Allah to continue to grant MTN’s leadership the knowledge they need to carry out their mission.
He also prayed for the nation’s peace to be preserved and for Allah to bestow wisdom on those in charge.
