I am a military personnel
The military barracks is my abode
I am always active and very strong
Always looking good in my uniform
I give orders to those below my rank
And take orders from those above me
I put on the very cloth of courage
While wearing the belt of discipline
I am always ready and alert
It’s great to be a soldier !
I was at the military academy school
There I was trained to be a professional
In defending my nation and my people
And to maintain peace and security
In the unusual times of natural disaster
I can be called upon for assistance
For help and giving of humanitarian aid
At the very risk of my own life
It’s great to be a soldier !
In the Air force I fly the jet fighter
Loaded with missiles and amunition
To counter the approaching enemies
Attacking and defending from the air
The soldiers jump off in a parachute
And skilfully move through the air
Until they have landed on the territory
And carry out their great operations
Our helicopters are also in the air
To transport our military supplies
And help us to defend our nation
It’s great to be soldier!
In the army we fight on the land
We take the orders and we move
While moving in our armoured vehicles
Others also fight the enemies on foot
Whether in the day or in the night
Be it in the desert on in the forest
Whether on the rain or the sunshine
We are ready to defend our nation

In the Navy we fight on the waters
Our many warships are well equipped
To fight the enemies on the waters
And our submarines are ever ready
To deal with the enemies under water
And to protect our territorial waters
Whether in the sea, rivers or lakes
We are ready to defend our nation
It’s great to be soldier!
