Minority ‘boycotts’ SONA

The Minority in Parliament has walked out of the Chamber, when the President Nana Akufo-Addo took his seat in the House to deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA).

The Members of the Minority who were clad in black and red attires, vacated their seats immediately after the Ghana National Anthem was sang.

Some majority members subsequently move to the ‘other side’, taking over the vacant seats.

This is the 15th sitting of the First meeting of the 4th session of the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic.
