Prudential Life Insurance Ghana unveils measures to protect customers and ensure continued service in response to COVID-19

In response to the unprecedented situation with corona virus (COVID-19), Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has announced a series of measures aimed at providing its customers with additional peace of mind and assurance that it will continue to provide the service they have come to expect from Prudential Life, even with a lockdown.

In a statement by the company, detailing measures taken across its offices on the African Continent.

The measures include;Providing customers, staff and agents with a range of additional COVID-19 insurance cover at no cost to themselves.

It further waives ‘pandemic’ exclusions written into policy language of the company as well as the waiving period.

The statement explained, the various methods the company plans to make business smooth for its customers

“Waiving waiting period on all policies if death is by COVID -19.

Simplifying claims procedures and enabling claims to be made via WhatsApp

Setting up dedicated claims teams

Enabling customers to buy insurance without the need to meet face to face with an agent

Providing additional training and incentives to our agents to continue to provide advice and access to insurance at this time,”

Emmanuel Mokobi Aryee, CEO of Prudential Life Insurance Ghana said, “We realise this is a worrying time for everyone and we want to reassure you that protecting the health and wellness of our customers, employees and partners is our primary concern.  At Prudential we have been delivering promises for over 170 years and this time period will be no different.
