ECG Ashanti announces break for Easter holidays

The Ashanti regional branch of the Electricity Company of Ghana has said there is going to be a break in their operations, from Friday, April 10 to Monday, April 13, to observe the Easter holidays.

However, it noted that work would resume on Tuesday, April 14 “in compliance with the arrangements made for COVID-19 by the government,” according to a communication from the regional office.

In the meantime, ECG will have a standby team in place to attend to all faults while also directing all prepaid customers who may have to top up their credit during the break to use the ECG Mobile App or third-party vendors.

“We wish you all a Happy Easter Celebration as you strictly wash your hands with soap under running water, observe social distancing protocol and stay home, to stop the coronavirus from moving and infecting others,”
