Youth Opportunities, an international Non-Governmental Organisation that provides access to capacity building and youth development opportunities has announced Mr. Patrick Fynn as the new Regional Director for the Northern and Eastern Africa region.
Mr. Fynn’s promotion comes on the back of his steady rise through the ranks to being honoured as the overall best country Ambassador for the year 2019 beating over 100other representatives.
He earned the recognition through his dedicated service of bridging the gap between opportunity providers and the Ghanaian youth.
The Bangladesh based NGO, through its global digital platforms, promotes both national and international opportunities to facilitate symmetrical access to various job and educational scholarships serving more than 4.5 million youths across of the world.
Taking up the new supervisory role, Mr. Fynn expressed appreciation to YO stating that “This promotion has come to encourage me to continue improving on executing my duties exceptionally in the best way I can, creating opportunities for other young people in Ghana selflessly and contributing my quo-ta to solving the SDGs especially Goal 4 and 8.
He stated that even though this is a promotion, it comes with more responsibilities and bigger tasks ahead. He said: “This promotion means more work and more opportunities for the youth in Ghana and beyond. Unemployment and access to educational scholarship funds have become a major challenge in the country and the world at large. It is my hope that through my services, the unemployment canker and low access to higher education due to lack of finances will be reduced to the barest minimum if not eradicated.”
He encouraged the youth in the country to take advantage of the Youth Opportunities (YO) portal, www.youthop.com for more opportunities to access educational scholarship funds and job opportunities.
He assured that the Youth Opportunities portal is a credible one and therefore provides free access to opportunities of such nature. He also encouraged the Youth to apply for as many opportunities as they see and share with other colleagues.
Patrons of the YO platform, over the years, have unlimited, free access to various fellowships, scholarships, grants, and exchange programs.
