KOFARB Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of KOFARB Poland – a globally recognised brand providing thermal insulation solutions and corrosive protection systems, has introduced onto the Ghanaian market its brand of paint products.
The eco-friendly products, which are mainly anti-rust and anti-bacterial, have heat reflective compounds and insulates for interior, exterior and industrial applications.
KOFARB Ghana currently has about seven products available in the market: namely Kofaterm White, Kofaterm Grey, Kofatermal, Kofakor Anti-rust, Kofasyd 2K Aktivgrunt, Kofapur 2K Surface and Kofabio.
The Kofarterm White brand has materials which reflect 90 percent of heat radiation and eliminates thermal bridges. Its special filters make it resistant to weather conditions and UV radiation. It reduces sound level due to its acoustic insulation, and is intended for thermal insulation of concreate, brick and stone surfaces.
The CEO of Kofarb Ghana, Jacob Gbati, speaking at the product launch indicated that KOFARB paints are uniquely made to satisfy specific challenges and conditions.
He urged the public to get the right product for their peculiar need and avoid buying just any paint on the market. “These are unique products with their own advantages that will help the market. It will provide a lot of cost saving due to durability of metals, long-lasting materials with energy saving ability. KOFARB paints also have the capability to protect the environment, reduce noise pollution, protect against heat or cold, and they also come with colour advantage,” he said.
He also noted that long-term plans are in place to establish a KOFARB manufacturing plant in Ghana to supply the sub-region, which will go a long way to create more jobs for the teeming youth.
Municipal Chief Executive-Kpong Katamanso Municipality, Solomon Appiah, congratulated the KOFARB Ghana team for bringing into the country such a top brand. He indicated that government will give the company any support it needs to establish a plant in Ghana, as its top priority is to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
In addition, he emphasised that government’s One District, One Factory initiative is still in place and aligned to support individuals and organisations wishing to set up factories and manufacturing plants in the country, an opportunity that KOFARB can explore.
KOFARB Ghana Limited currently has operating offices in the port enclave of Tema and a sub-office in Tamale, where its eco-friendly and energy saving products are available with plans in place to get to other cities by mid-year.
