The Egyptian Embassy in Ghana is set to organise this year’s Trade Mission in the country next month.
September’s Trade Mission will put special focus on players in the Chemical industry, and will see renowned Egyptian chemical companies engage their Ghanaian counterparts on diverse aspects of the industry; including production, supply, quality control, marketing etc.
The event, a brainchild of the Embassy, is aimed at deepening manufacturing, trade, commerce, and more broadly economic relations between Ghana and Egypt.
Shedding further light on the event, the Commercial Director of the Egyptian Embassy, Mohammed Ismail, noted that the relationship between Ghana and Egypt dates back many years, and has witnessed both countries benefitting tremendously from the partnership.
Mr. Ismail further noted that “one of the fundamental areas which we believe holds enormous potential for both countries is manufacturing and production; and that is what has inspired this initiative”.
He thus urged Ghanaian chemical companies, as well as organisations seeking to venture into chemical production and its related activities, to take advantage of this Trade Mission to further enhance and widen their operational capabilities, and by extension footprints in the industry.
The event has been scheduled for the Alisa Hotel, located at Ridge in Accra on the 23rd of September.
