The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Ghana – in partnership with West Blue Consulting, will on Monday launch Incoterms 2020 at the Ecobank Headquarters Auditorium in Accra.
“Incoterms®️”, an acronym for International Commercial Terms, is a trademark of the International Chamber of Commerce registered in several countries.
The Incoterms rules are the world’s essential terms of trade for the sale of goods; whether you are filing a purchase order, packaging and labelling a shipment for freight transport, and/or preparing a certificate of origin at a port.
The rules serve as a guide and provide specific guidance to individuals participating in the import and export of global trade on a daily basis.
West Blue Consulting, as a proud partner, will be exhibiting its innovative and world-class IT Products and Solutions at the event, billed to be addressed by Ms. Valentina Mintah, founder of the company.
Other key speakers at the event include: Emmanuel Doni-Kwame Secretary General – ICC Ghana; Mr. Morgan Uloko, Managing Director-DHL Ghana; and Mr. Daniel Sackey Managing Director-Ecobank Ghana.
The others are Rev. Edward Ribero, Executive Member-ICC Banking Commission/Head-Trade Finance Operations Ecobank Group, with a Keynote address and official launch of Incoterms®️ to be performed by Carlos Ahenkorah, Deputy Minister for Trade and former President of the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders.
