Vivo Energy Ghana opens another Welcome Shop in Cantonments

Vivo Energy Ghana, the marketers and distributors of Shell branded products and services has officially opened its Head Office ‘Welcome Shop’ and Vida e Caffé.

The Welcome Shop brand, which was launched in December 2017 as one of the Vivo Energy’s new shop formats, is aimed at giving customers more offerings and more experiences when they visit.

It serves as an extension of the company’s new Welcome Shop format to its ultra-modern Head Office at the Continents City serving also as the first Welcome Shop outside Vivo Energy Ghana’s service stations.

Currently, the Welcome Shops are operational within 13 of Vivo Energy’s key retail service stations across the country. Some of these shops, specifically the Castle Road shell service station, has the Welcome Bakery to provide customers with quick snacks, breakfast and other products in addition to the shop.

In an interview with the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr. Ben Hassan Ouattara, he noted that the opening is in line with the company’s objective to continually lead the way in convenience retail offers by staying meaningful and relevant to customer needs.

He said Vivo energy Ghana has the vision of becoming Africa’s most respected Energy business.

The company partnered Vida e Caffé, a focused cafe concept that delivers authentic European espresso bar culture infused with unique energetic African flavours.

Vida cafe offers wide variety of smoothies salads wraps sandwiches cafe with a sit-in option in a nice environment full-stop you can’t have breakfast or lunch to eat in or grab something On-The-Go.

In his remarks, Mr. Outtara said: “We are also extremely excited about our partnership with Vida e Caffé to offer our customers the best of meals and snacks in the same shop space. The location of the Welcome Shop and Vida e Caffé eatery is aimed at providing customers in Cantonments and its environs a quick modern shopping experience and a great tasting meal.”

He noted that: “The Welcome Shop stocks groceries and other convenience products you may want to grab on the go – in the morning or evening or anytime during the day.”

He acknowledged the ongoing strong partnerships with both local and international restaurants to make customers’ journeys go well with a variety of convenient food offers.

Mr. Outtara noted that these investments in expanding the Vivo Energy Ghana’s offerings, demonstrates the company’s commitment to developing its business in Ghana.

He expressed his appreciation to guests present for being a part of the official opening and encouraged the public to make Vivo Energy’s Welcome Shops as their number one stop-shop for groceries and excellent customer service.
