The citation further states that, the Bank’s quest to remain committed to its mission saw the board and management dish out some well thought out customer-driven offers in loans and other such products.

These and many others helped to grow the Bank’s portfolio by a little over GH¢7 million representing 28.82% that is from about GH¢24.3million in 2017 to approximately GH¢31.3million in 2018 for the Bank’s loan products and GH¢19.2million representing 18.83% which is about GH¢121 million in 2018 from a little over GH¢101.8 million in 2017.

These stellar performances won the Bank 3.64% of the total rural bank market share out of 143 rural banks nationwide and caught the attention of the panel of elevators who duly conferred on the Bank the CIMG Rural Bank of the Year, 2018

The CIMG National Marketing Performance Awards is a high-profile event that acknowledges individuals and organisations for marketing excellence and innovation. The awards seek among other things to promote high professional standards and to encourage excellence among marketing practitioners. It also aims at ensuring the provision of high-quality products and services.

Commenting on the award, CEO of the Bank, Dr Stephen Sarfo Kantanka said to be recognized as the rural bank of the year in a year that was particularly challenging for the banking sector is a huge endorsement and this rather challenges them not to rest on their oars but be persistent with their vision and mission and continue to be the pacesetters in rural banking.
