Zenith Bank Ghana has held a health walk, as part of activities to mark its 13 years of operations in the country.
Under the theme: “Zenith My Bank- Bigger, Stronger, Faster,” the exercise brought together hundreds of people including staff of the bank and partner companies to work-out, socialise and network.
The health walk was also to climax the bank’s 13th anniversary celebrations. According to Zenith, 2018 has Indeed, been an amazing journey due to some remarkable achievements. It is currently one of the largest and most respected banks in Ghana.
The bank was also the first to meet the minimum capital requirement of GHs400m set by the Bank of Ghana, 10 months ahead of the December deadline.
This, the bank said, was easily achieved due to the prudence of its shareholders and no dividend payment policy since inception.
Additionally, Zenith Bank has obtained ISO 27001 and PCIDSS Certifications: taken major strides in obtaining these certifications, it added, is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and in accordance with International standards. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday September 26, 2018.
Some of the special guests and companies that participated in the health walk include: the Ambassador to Ghana from Italy; Latex Foam; National Banking College; Uniex Ghana Limited; Mohinani Group; and Ashfoam
Others are Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Radiance Petroleum, Afcott Ghana Limited, Ghana Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Prudential Life and KPMG.
