Philanthropist, Catherine Dela Dzivenu, Lead Patron of Okor Waves, a non-governmental organisation focused on the development of Ada and its environs, has once again, extended her kind gesture to the people of Ada by donating to the Kasseh Clinic.
The donation, which was done to mark her birthday on July 10th, 2018, included packs of mineral water, assorted drinks, toiletries, among others.
As a native of the community, Ms. Dzivenu thought it prudent to celebrate her day by putting smiles on the faces of patients and health workers of Kasseh Clinic located in the Ada East District of the Greater Accra Region.
“I am a proud citizen of Ada and to always come back home is something I love doing. As long as I have the means and strength, I will always extend support to the most vulnerable in this society. I hope other well-to-do citizens of this vibrant town will emulate what I am doing so that we can all help to lift our people out of hardship and develop our own,” she said.
She recently led the Okor Waves group to roll out some activities including health walks, talk shows, free health screenings, and football galas in the Ada township.
She also plans to hold a pre-Ada Asafotufiami Festival football gala, ICT training for the Ada Training College and community health development for the islands around Ada in collaboration with Okor Waves.
