Nissan to assemble vehicles in Ghana

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan Kyerematen on Tuesday 6th November, 2018, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nissan Motor Company Limited at the Jubilee House in Accra.

This move is geared towards bringing to reality the Akufo-Addo led government’s vision of building a strong automotive industry in Ghana.

Nissan aims to be the first car maker to assemble vehicles in Ghana, building on its market leadership in the country. Nissan has also named Ghana as its Regional Office for the West African market.
