Ghana Tech Summit announces 1,000 Global attendees and speakers from Facebook, Google, SAP, IBM to convene at Accra International Conference Center

The Ghana Tech Summit team is pleased to announce the updated list of speakers, 3-day agenda and featured partner networks confirmed for the largest tech summit in West Africa. Participants can register for the final batch of tickets directly via or Eventbrite.

Ghana Tech Summit is a 3-day international program to be hosted on July 18-20, 2018 at Accra International Conference Center featuring 100 global speakers and 1000 attendees. The central theme of the global summit is to “catalyze entrepreneurial and business ecosystems in emerging markets”.

The multi-year event is a 12- year initiative of the Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE) which brings together hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, digital marketers and creatives together into targeted cities around the world to accelerate tech, innovation and economic development within the host country.

GSE hosts about 20 global programs a year with top notable summits such as Space Tech Summit in Silicon Valley, Blockchain Tech Summit in New York, and Haiti Tech Summit in Royal Decameron, Haiti which generated 105 social media impressions.

Former guest speakers of GSE Summits include Jack Dorsey (Founder of Twitter/Square), Ben Horowitz (Investor Twitter, Facebook), Tim Draper (Investor in Skype, Hotmail etc); Naveen Jain (Founder of Moon Express, Viome etc.); Current President of Haiti Jovenel Moise; Vicky Jeudy from Netflix Orange is the New Black; and more.

The final set of 40 speakers will be announced next Monday featuring high-level government officials from Ghana’s top 40 ministries of government and presidential cabinet alongside press influencers from around the world.

The summit organizers have already galvanized the first influencer ecosystem meeting in partnership with the Diaspora Office and Ministry of Communications on June 5th and has a series of events during Ghana Tech Week featuring content on personal branding, smart city and exponential tech workshops.
