Nordic Alliance to organise second Fiber Optics training in Accra

Nordic Alliance is set to organise its second training in Fiber Optics following the success of the maiden edition.

Recently, Nordic Alliance, facilitated its first specialised Fiber Optics course with its trusted partners from Scandinavia, who have more than 15 years of international experience with Fiber Optic training and is approved by the International Fiber Optic Association as certified trainers.

The ten trainees gained practical knowledge and skills which will help them work with fiber optic cabling for high speed data transfer.

They were also been trained to be able to terminate and splice fiber optic cables, install fiber to the home (FTT), as well as troubleshoot and document fiber systems within industry specifications.

The next training edition will be held on November 19th to December 7th at the Airport Residential Area, with participants paying a fee of US$2,800 each.

The Fiber Optic Training Course will be both theoretical and practical training, which will cover some of the following subjects and much more: Specialized Fiber theory, FTT, OTDR, OLTS, LAN installations, Splicing, Patching, Fault finding, and Budget calculations.

Commenting on what motivated Nordic Alliance to put together another training of this kind, Business Development Manager and Partner of the Company, Mathias Møller, said it was borne out of interests expressed by other organisations who got to know later about the training; and also, the feedback his outfit got from the previous trainees.

“Some organisations approached us after the training that we should organise one for them. And so, we thought it wise to put together another one. And also, the previous trainees were very delighted, especially, about the practical training they got from us. So, all these motivated us to organise another one,” he said.

Applicants who register for the second training by October 1, 2018 will receive a 20 percent discount. More information on the application process and the courses are available on www.Nordic-Allaince.com.
