Lakeside Estate launches new two-bedroom community 8 houses

Lakeside Estate Limited, a leading real estate company, has out doored new two-bedroom detached houses in its new Community 8 project.

Currently available for sale, the houses come with a flexible payment package from Stanbic Bank dubbed the “Good Deal.”

The houses comes with both grid and solar electrical systems, a digital video recorder security camera, dining and living rooms with a guest washroom as well. They also have an underground beam which makes them earthquake resistant.

Salah Kalmoni, the company’s Director and Shareholder Representative, said Lakeside Estate has a land size of about 2000 acres with over 1000 apartments, with two police stations to provide total security to residents.

“We have three schools and commercial properties – Lancaster University, who also have land under-development, tennis court, fitness centre as well as Madina Technical University. So, at lake side, you are not buying just a house, but you are buying into the community.”

He added that the two-bedroom houses are selling at US$99,000 but customers can pay 20 percent whilst a Stanbic Bank mortgage plan for a 20-year period pays the rest.

The Manager of Home Loans at Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited, Anna Owusu-Sekyere, said: “We have four deals for this package. The first deal is that we are waving off facility fees for anyone who takes a mortgage for these particular houses, which is 2.5 percent of the total amount. The second waver is the valuation fee, where customers do not get to pay any valuation at all and the third is a property insurance fee and the last waver is the fire insurance fee which is mandatory for every house owner to have, and it will be paid on behalf of the customer for a five-year period.”

The repayment period, she added, is between five to twenty years and the customer decides how long he or she wants to spread the repayment,” she said.

Popular Ghanaian comedian and movie actor, Kalybos, introduced the public to the location and took them on a tour around the facility detailing the various features of the property.
