DUSAF to construct healthcare facility in Luom

Dynamic United Stars Africa Foundation (Dusaf), a non-governmental organisation, known for their humanitarian work have embarked on a social drive to raise funds in support of a healthcare facility for the people of Luom community.

Founder, Deborah Oduro says, “basic healthcare should be accessible by all but unfortunately the people of Luom are left behind in this cause. It is sad to see hardworking youth in the community, lose their lives because of lack of access to quality healthcare.”

“We believe by constructing such a facility which will provide even the most basic of first-aid, we will be able to prevent a lot of avoidable deaths and empower the workforce in the area to help drive development. We are open for support and will be grateful to discuss ways in which this project can be achieved,” she added.

The move forms part of the organisation’s core objectives of providing meaningful hope for the needy especially children through provision of food, healthcare, physical needs and infrastructure. The construction of the healthcare facility will be the latest of such initiatives which has come about as a result of the low access to healthcare in the Luom community.
