Fiesta Residences, a unique combination of luxurious boutique hotel and serviced apartments in Accra, has launched the new Business Lunch Menu at its Grillroom Restaurant to help meet demands of the business class.
The three-course set menu provides the business person who is hard-pressed for time an opportunity to eat a good meal in less than an hour.
According to General Manager Johan de Villiers, there’s a big opportunity in Ghana for the new concept Grillroom Restaurant has introduced for business lunches. He said what Fiesta Residences has done over the last three to four months is look at the market and see what other people are doing in order to offer exquisite services to their clientele.
He said: “We’ve looked at the location, done our market analysis and realised what our offering is and what our competitors’ offering is. We found out that in terms of the business lunches, people just get away from the office and they have only an hour or an hour and a half for a quick, good meal and return back to their offices. So, we decided to put something together and decided that we are going to provide good three-course set menus that are rotational – that is, changing the menus on weekly basis”.
Mr. Johan de Villiers intimated that the Business Lunch Menus will be sent to their database on weekly basis, informing them of the option available for the week.
He was quick to add that it does not take away from the restaurant’s a la carte menu, which is also available at all times. He said it simply means this is specifically for the business person who wants a good but quick lunch.
“The meals are enough not to get them sleepy but definitely enough to make sure they have a good quality meal, and it is very well-balanced. The surroundings we have here are a lot more private, so if the business people want to have a more distinguished conversation or private meeting with other business men and women, then this is an ideal place to come,” added Mr. Mr. de Villiers
Touching on pricing and affordability, the General Manager said the business lunch comprising a three-course meal is pegged at GH¢150. According to him, the meal that comes along with the price gives value for money.
The Business Lunch is open to the general public, but not limited to the hours of 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Customers can just walk in and order specifically for the Business Lunch, but Mr. de Villiers noted that it is advisable to call in even though it is not a necessity.
