FBNBank holds 2nd Save and Win mini draw

FBNBank Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, has rewarded ten customers in the second mini-draw of its Save and Win promotion.

The draw witnessed four out of the ten lucky customers walking home with Samsung smart mobile phones, while the other six got GH¢100 worth of airtime each.

The campaign, dubbed ‘FBNBank Ghana Save and Win Promo’, is running for the second year and is aimed at broadening the bank’s customer base by connecting with the unbanked population through excellent products and services which meet their financial needs.

Managing Director-FBNBank Ghana Limited, Gbenga Odeyemi, in a speech read on his behalf by Eric Kwasi Fia, Head of Retail Banking, said FBNBank is committed to putting esteemed customers and stakeholders at the heart of its business.

“We seek creative and innovative ways to serve them better, and aim at delivering to them reliable, secure and convenient payment options with cost-saving benefits,” he said.

Some of the winners are: Sowah Benjamin, Korle Bu Branch; Seidu Adams, Swedru Branch; and Tetteh Vera, Santa Maria Branch – all to be rewarded with mobile phones.

Other winners who will be rewarded with mobile airtime are: Amankwah Agnes, Santa Maria branch; Samuel Owusu, Ring Road; Kwofie Benjamin, Dansoman; Baya Isaac, Takoradi; Amankwa Boahin Vera, Dansoman; Ocloo Vida, Makola; and Nancy Quarm.

The first mini-draw held last month also saw ten customers from the bank’s various branches across the country win similar prizes, and some were present to pick up their reward.

The grand draw for the promo will be held in September 2018, when some lucky customers will walk away with amazing prizes – ranging from LED television sets, fridges, washing machines, gas cookers, laptops, I-pads and smart phones, among others.

To enter or qualify for the promotion, customers need to make a deposit of GH₵200 or multiples thereof into an existing or new individual savings or current account.

Every GH₵200 deposit earns a customer one point. However, all customers who at the start of the promotion had a minimum balance of GH₵1,000 in their accounts will get one point for every GH₵1,000 as advance points up to a maximum of 10 points.

The advance points are earned only on incremental basis as long as a customer’s deposits remain in the account during the promotion period.

Customers are required to maintain a minimum of GH₵1,000 in their individual current or savings accounts to be able to participate in the three-monthly draws and the grand draw.
