The Ahantaman Rural Bank Limited has inaugurated a new office complex at Tanokrom, a suburb in Takoradi.
“The Tanokrom branch of the bank, was established in 1993 and has been operating in a rented apartment until the bank secured a parcel of land in the area and constructed this new edifice” Mr. Vincent Blaychie Essien, Board Chairman of the bank has said.
“The establishment of this office complex is among several others that signifies our financial strength and perpetuity. The new building will be named after Ernest Kojo Thompson who had the vision of setting up this rural bank at Agona; So, this edifice will be called Kojo Thompson house” he added.
He urged individuals to develop the habit of savings so they can fall on it when in dire need or should any unforeseen circumstances such as fire outbreak natural disaster among others occur
Nana Kwasi Agyemang IX, Paramount Chief of Lower Dixcove in the Ahanta West District commended the board for the new office complex.
He urged the bank to sustain the good customer relations with its clients for growth and other business opportunities.
He said there is the need for the bank to ensure quality service delivery for customers; as customers, you need to report poor services rendered by staff to the management of the bank as well as make suggestions.
“Report on how tellers, managers and staff of this bank treat you, if you are dissatisfied with their service, let us know on time” he said.
Mr. Benjamin Afful Eshun, Chief Executive Officer of the Ahantaman Rural Bank mentioned that the bank has variety of financial packages tailored to every class of people and need.
He announced that the bank will soon roll out its mobile banking platform to give customers the best and convenient banking experience; we will work at widening our coverage across the Western and Central Regions.
