MTN has waived charges on the official programme website of the COVID-19 Recovery and Resilience (CoRe) programme, www.core.com.gh. This means users of the website will not pay any data charges while browsing all aspects of the platform.

The COVID-19 Recovery and Resilience (CoRe) programme was launched recently, and is an initiative of the Springboard Road Show Foundation in partnership with Mastercard Foundation and Solidaridad.

Following a successful launch of the CoRe Programme, the Springboard Road Show Foundation is embarking on measures to reach out to as many people aspossible, and zero-rating the platform would go a long way to attract more users since it is free.

This zero-rate means that educational videos, audios, and other coaching content on the CoRe programme can be assessed at no data cost to MTN subscribers for the rest of 2020. Through this initiative, MTN Ghana is helping young Ghanaians access relevant information to help them thrive in the COVID-19 pandemic era.

Starting this week, the CoRe programme will roll out six months of e-coaching, e-mentoring, and e-counselling in areas such as health and wellness, resilience and job-readiness skills.

The Springboard Road Show Foundation is the promoter of diverse mentoring and developmental interventions aimed at young people. Its flagship annual programme, ‘the Springboard Road Show’, has evolved into the nation’s biggest personal development conference since its first edition in January 2007. Over the past 14 editions, over 200,000 participants in Ghana, Nigeria and Gambia have directly benefitted from career guidance, group coaching, leadership conferences and one-on-one mentoring, with over a million digital participants recorded.

The Mastercard Foundation works with visionary organisations to enable young people in Africa and Indigenous communities of Canada to access dignified and fulfilling work.  It is one of the largest private foundations in the world, with a mission to advance learning and promote financial inclusion so as to create an inclusive and equitable world.
