Ghana has recorded eight new COVID 19 deaths pushing the country’s fatality rate of the disease to 424 as of February 2, 2021.
The country also recorded 772 new COVID-19 cases. The active case count has now reached 5,515. The figures were released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) today at a press briefing in Accra.
Total number of cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in Ghana now stands at 67,782 whiles the country has recorded 61,843 recoveries.
Also, 119 and 41 patients are currently in severe and critical conditions respectively.
