The centre back is behind Federico Higuain who is paid US$ 1.05 million and midfielder Pedro Santos is in third with an annual base salary of US$ 684,000.
Mensah was signed before the start of the season as a Designated Player from Russian side Anzhi Makachkala.
His international teammate is among the highest paid on a salary of US$ $296,666.67.
