Miss Ghana 2017 comes off in October...auditions to hold in all 10 regions
This year’s Miss Ghana event, dubbed ‘Miss Ghana 60 years on’ is set to come off on the 7th of October 2017 in Accra.
There will be auditions in the ten regions of Ghana where five contestants will be selected from all regions and ten from the online campaign called ‘My Miss Ghana.’ This makes the number sixty which marks Ghana’s and the pageants 60th Anniversary.
CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, Inna Mariam Patty, at the launch, assured Ghanaians of an improved and a better edition.
She expressed her gratitude to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his immense support to this year’s event. “We are particularly humble that each government has shared in Nkrumahs vision to protect our heritage, we are eternally grateful.”
She further stated that this year, the pageant is emphasizing on value, responsibility, commitment, dedication and passion in transforming lives.
Afua Asiedua Akrofi, 2016 Ambassador for Miss Ghana, stated that “as a woman, we must not forget that there is no limit to what we can achieve.”
The Deputy Chief of Staff, John Jinapor added that this event marks a new change in the industry. “There is a new dawn and a dawn of hope, in that respect Government and other stakeholders are very encouraged to partner Miss Ghana entity to make the dreams of the less privileged a reality.
Miss Ghana is one of the most revered pageants and it continues to be the most preferred for young, beautiful, intelligent and purpose-driven ladies,” he added.
